Do Not Disturb

With "Do Not Disturb" you can specify who can reach you even when your status is set to "Do Not Disturb".

Priority Contacts

  • Manage Priority Contacts: Opens the management page where you can designate contacts as priority contacts.
  • Priority contacts receive notifications from you even when your status is set to "Do Not Disturb".

While Screen Sharing

  • Set my status to "Do Not Disturb" when I share my screen
    • Enabled: When sharing your screen, "Do Not Disturb" is set automatically.
    • Disabled: You receive "Busy", can still accept calls and receive notifications from contacts with priority access.

Blocked Contacts

Blocked contacts cannot call you, send you messages, or see your presence status.

Manage Blocked Contacts

  • Opens the management page where you can block or unblock contacts.

Calls Without Caller ID

  • Block calls without caller ID
    • Enabled: Calls without caller ID are blocked.
    • Disabled: You can receive such calls.

Surveys

  • Surveys: Participation in polls in chats or channels.
    • Enabled: You can participate in polls.
    • Disabled: Polls are not displayed or available.

    • Enabled: The application may store additional diagnostic data.
    • Disabled: No advanced diagnostic data storage.

    • Enabled: You are identified by name in attendance reports.
    • Disabled: Your attendance is not shown by name.

End-to-End Encrypted Calls

This setting controls end-to-end encrypted calls for 1:1 video calls: they are end-to-end encrypted when both participants enable End-to-end encrypted calls under SettingsPrivacy.

Video meetings (groups): Meeting E2EE is not controlled by this toggle and is not limited to 1:1 (Microsoft Teams restricts meeting E2EE in ways that do not apply here). In Sparks, group meetings can also use meeting E2EE when explicitly enabled by the organizer or a moderator – see End-to-end encryption.

  • Enabled: You can place end-to-end encrypted 1:1 calls (when the other participant has the same setting enabled).
  • Disabled: Calls are transmitted with transport encryption only.

Note: When E2EE is enabled, some features are not available (e.g. recording, transcription).

Optional Connected Experiences

  • Optional Connected Experiences: Cloud-based services such as Giphy (GIF search), URL preview, and more.
    • Enabled: You can use these services.
