Area: Spaces
No dedicated sidebar path — Spaces are part of the Matrix hierarchy and appear in the chat list and the Teams area (/teams). With Microsoft Teams terminology, Spaces are often labeled Teams.
Overview
Spaces organize Matrix chat rooms hierarchically, similar to folders (by project, team, or customer).

Main features
Create a Space
- In the chat list “+” → create Space/Team, or in Teams
- Create Space dialog
- The Space appears in the structure
Add rooms to a Space
- Assign rooms via Space/Team settings
- Right-click a room → add to Space (where offered)
- A room can be linked in multiple Spaces

- Name, description, avatar
- Rooms and members (Add people)
