Overview
The Teams area shows Matrix-based teams and channels — Spaces as teams, rooms as channels. This is not Microsoft Graph. For native Microsoft Teams channels, use Microsoft Teams Channels (/ms-channels).
With Microsoft Teams terminology (Settings → Chats and channels), labels may say “Team”/“Channel” instead of “Space”/“Room”.

Main features
Posts and threads
- New post: Post in channel opens the composer. Optional subject or announcement (headline + body). Attachments, scheduled messages, and delivery options as in Chat.
- Feed: Each card shows the post and the latest replies. Unread posts and replies are highlighted (amber). Scrolling marks visible messages as read.
- Replies: One inline reply at a time, or Open thread for the full view. Typing indicators appear under the feed and in the thread.
- Reactions, edit/delete (own posts, depending on permissions), pin
- Media: Images (lightbox), files, video/audio (including encrypted channels), polls, and widgets on the post card
- Pinned posts: Channel header or ⋯ menu; click jumps to the post
- Search in channel: Header search. Unencrypted channels use the server; encrypted channels search only posts already loaded
- Post link: Opens the channel and scrolls to the post or thread
- Voice messages and video clips (as in Chat)
@mentions and team tags
- People:
@opens the picker; the mentioned person is notified. - @Room / @All: everyone in the channel.
- Team tags: Team ⋯ → Manage tags. Create a tag and assign members. In the composer,
@TagNamenotifies those people (same as a normal @mention).
Note: Tags are shared with the team (owners/admins edit them). @TagName notifies the assigned members.
Files and tabs
- Files tab (WebDAV / Sparks Cloud room folder when provisioned)
- Polls, Whiteboard, Custom tabs / app store / manifest import
- Optional: widget tabs from Microsoft Teams (when Microsoft is linked and the feature is on)
Team and channel management
- Create team / create channel (permissions required)
- Manage tags (team ⋯)
- Members: Add people, roles, remove (channel details)
- Settings: name, description, avatar, per-channel notifications
- Hide / unhide channel; mute notifications
