Dialog: Create Room
How to Open
- In Chat: "Create room" or "+" button in chat list
- Context menu in chat list or sidebar → "Create room"
Fields in Dialog

Workflow
- Open dialog (see How to Open)
- Enter room name (required)
- Choose description and visibility
- Optional: Encryption, guest access
- Click "Create"
- Room appears in chat list
After Creating
- Invite participants: Room settings → Invite members (by Matrix ID or email, per server)
- Add tabs: Polls, Whiteboard, custom URLs
- Room settings: Name, avatar, notifications
Notes
- Public rooms appear in server directories and can be discovered
- Private rooms are accessible by invitation only
- Encryption recommended for sensitive content
